About / FAQ
Here you will find book reviews mainly on art books, "art of"' books, as well as the occasional miscellaneous books that I think might be/ are interesting. I have always loved to read and collect books, as I have always grown up with a dedicated book room in the house. My parents have instilled a love of books from the moment I could pick up a book, and I was always taught to to cherish and treasure books. In addition to loving books, I have always had a love for art. I spent a lot of my life in various museums from around the world, always admiring all of the different art and history that every culture had to offer. It is recently; however, that I fell in love with the "art of" books- the perfect combination of both of my interests: books and art. All books are not created equal though, so here on Panda Book Review I will give you a sneak peek at all the books I can get my hands on, as well as my review, if it's worth the buy or not. Feel free to disagree with me, it's just what I think about the book. This website is is intended to help someone decide if it's the book for you. I just recently began collecting "art of books so my collection is fairly small and varies in terms of the year that they were published, but the wonderful thing about books is that they don't get outdated like tech does.
I hope you guys enjoy and find this helpful!
FAQ
Here are questions and answers to some basic FAQs that I could think of. As I get feedback and other questions I will be updating and adding to this section as needed.
- How "fair" will these reviews be?
I buy all of the books that I make my reviews on, and as you know when you spend your own money on something and don't like it, you don't hide that fact. Sometimes I regret buying a book and I'll be the first one to admit it, as well as the faults I had with the book so you can form your own opinion. Some of this may be opinionated (like art style) but I try to keep my reviews as unbiased as possible.
- Where do I get these books?
Most books I buy come from Amazon. Some of the harder to find foreign books might come from Ebay.
